Ok well it has been forever since I did my last blog so I figured with my training starting yesterday, my training logs printed that I should start keeping track of my progress! I hit the gym last night and felt pretty good considering I haven't been in a gym in well a VERY long time. So tried the Elliptical for about 20 minutes, then I did the stationary bike for about 30min. trying to keep about a 5 minute mile pace. Which I was very surprised I did actually. I did 6.2 miles in about 30 minutes.
I had a good dinner with Chicken and Vegetables. So I am feeling pretty good right now. Sadly what started all this was that Monday March 30th I weighed myself. Mind you I am 5'1" and medium framed and I weighed in at 179.5 lbs. OMG!!! Serious reality check. I weighed only 178 lbs the day I gave birth to my daughter in 1994. SO WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED! Well I just turned 46 and I guess I have gotten lazy. I believe I am a very active person constantly on the go but my eating habit have gotten out of control.
IT'S NOW TIME TO START GETTING HEALTHIER! I love to run little 5K events here and there. I have even Juwagged (aka...walked , jogged ) a half marathon or two, but I have never been to serious about anything. So that time has changed. I have decided on a goal for 2016. I will be running (yes you heard me right) running a full marathon in February 2016. It's the Surf City Marathon on it's on February 7th Super Bowl Day! Let the pain begin....
